I thought that once a battery was not holding charge it was time to buy  a new one and bin the old one. When my camcorder battery stopped working I look into buying a new one which would cost £55 but at the same time a saw a web site telling me how to recondition them at very little cost so I got the plans which was very easy to read and now I am saving pounds plus making money. I now get old battery (which people give to me for free) recondition them and sell them(normally get between £10-£30 each). I also do a reconditioning service and charge about £10 to £20 per battery which is not bad for about 10 minutes work(this is acutely work as you still have to wait for the battery to charge). This is a replacement battery for 18V / volt bosch power tools (flat type) which cost about £65 new. I was given it for free spent 10 minutes on it and just sold it for £25.

You will not need allot to get started. For Ni-Cd & Ni-mh Batteries all you need is a multi meter and about £20 worth of parts from an electronic parts store. For lead acid(car) battery you will need Slow Battery Charger, fast charger (I use a set of jump leads and my car), a load tester (this is about £20) and a Battery Hydrometer (£10). I tend to stick with the Ni-Cd and Ni-mh battery (the type which is used for drills/camcorders and laptops) but have done a few car batteries for myself (your local garage will give them to you free as he pays someone to take them away).

When I first started I only indented to do my own battery for the camcorder and my drill battery which I did. Then a friend ask me if I could do a few batteries for him and before I knew it word got round and was doing about 30 batteries a week which takes me about 2 days to do. I do not advertise very much just give cards out and I always give a 90 days warranty (which I have only needed to refund one person). So the plans are well worth the money if you only do your own batteries and are more then worth it if you start up a business from it. I can work from home as it only take a little space, do the hours I want which is nice as I have got two small children and I am pleased that I am doing my bit for the planet by recycling. Lets get to making thing simple so an idiot like me can do it. There are lots of ways to make money online, I like the ones which you do not have to carry any stock of you own. I mean selling other peoples stuff for them by advertising there stock and getting a commision. We have all seen the ads that say make £2000 a day most of them are crap and all they do is cost you money I know I have tried them but there are a few which are easy to follow and do make money for you. There are three main ways of making money online.

The first system is by writing a content enrich web site and advertise other web sites and the best book on this is The One Week Marketing Action Plan which is the book I used with great results and if you need some web space/name I use 1&1 which offer great value for money and have never gone down on my yet. It is quite easy to build a web page but if you want an very easy way try site build it (they do have some great tools and I have some friends which uses them which good results). My website Bigsaving.co.uk earns me about £20,000 year which as you can see it is not the best web site in the world but it works and that is way I have not changed it to much.

The second one is by creating a landing page then pre sell and direct the customer to the seller now this dose work very well. I mainly pre sell ebooks from a web site call Clickbank and only sell books that I feel are good and work (it is no good selling one that do not work as you will got allot of returns and will have to refund the money you get). The best book is Daily Profiting but if you feel you can write a landing page then try Easy ppc to help with the marketing.

And the third is by using email with links to site that sell things and you get a commission for every sale. This is very easy as they is programs which will do most of the work for you but more and more people are putting on spam filters (there or ways around this). The book which I would recommend the most is Google Weath Wizard 2 manual. This book has all you need to know to get started and start making money today and is the book which I work mainly from. If money is a bit tight then Easy ppc is the cheapest one but will give you a start and with the information inside should give you a living if you can write a small web or by using site build it and using clickbank products.

There is also some software I use which is very good and will save you a load of money and you can get it at Affiliate Elite.

I have had my xbox for a little over a year when the three lights come on and the xbox would not boot up so I phone up to see how much it would cost and was quoted a little over £100 to fix it.

Then I saw an ebook claimer that you can do it yourself with no specialist tools in under an hour, so I brought the books which cost me about £20 which was well worth it but now its about £12 and with in an hour from buying the book my Xbox was working fine. There is a video which takes you though step by step so you can see how to do it quick and easy. It also fixes one and two red lights errors plus dvd freezes. I have now fixed four xbox 360’s for friends and each one said that they would pay for the ebook for me so I have made £60 for about 3 hours work plus fixed my own for free. Like an idiots I forgot my windows password. I thought my world has ended as I had allots of information on my hard drive that I needed and thought it would be locked away for ever. Then I started to think that there must be a programme that resets it so I look on the net and found a short video on it (click here to view the clip). With in minutes I had unlock my hard drive and was able to use my computer.

I have started to save more money by using the power of nature. I have installed solar lights to light up my garden not the dim ones you find on sale at the garden centre’s but a bright light so you can actually see what your are doing. I have also built a small wind turbine to power my garage using old car parts and I am looking to build a water wheel to power most of the house as there is a stream near by and will give me power for all most all of the time.

What you need for the solar light is a couple of old car battery(I pick these up from my local garage for free and then recondition them click here to find out more), solar panel which you can make yourself at a fraction of the price and some 12 volt lights(I used some old car lights which cost£1 each from a carboot sale). If you want to build a small wind turbine you will also need a couple of old car battery, a alternator from a car or a permanent magnet DC motors(which can be brought from ebay) and an inverter. The system I built uses a bank of 6 car batteries which is enough to light it up and run some power tools for about 4-8 hours and cost me the same amount if I was to put power from the mains to the garage. 1. This is a good one for all with children. Squeeze the loo roll into an oval shape. It doesn’t rollout so easily - and kids will tend not to use yards at a time!
2. When cooking turn off the oven 5-10 minutes before you have finished cooking as the oven remain hot. If you cook in the oven say 3 time a week that works out at one day cooking time.
3. Buy every day items from a car boot sale you will be amazed on the saving you could make. I once brought a bread maker for a fiver which had only been used once a saving of £45. I also buy a lot of kids clothes from the car boot sales which is a big saving, most of them are only 50p each and that’s for a Next top!

6. Changing you light bulbs for low energy will save money in two ways one is they use less electric and two they last 10 times longer but only cost 5 times more so it works out costing half the price of normal light bulbs. There is a added bonus you want have to stand on a chair quite so often to change them and if you worried about global warming you carbon foot print will be less.
7. If you have a garden why not try and grow you own veg.
8. Here’s a good one washing power is made to get your clothes clean first time no matter how dirty there are, but most of us do not get our clothes that dirty so only half the amount of washing power will do, try it out.
9. Another one is washing up liquid we all use too much if you buy a pump dispenser and use one pump at a time this will save money.
10. If you a car driver you can save money just by making sure your tyre pressure are right, try to keep your speed down (driving at 50 mile an hour will save you money), try to drive smothly and if you can walk or cycle do it.
11. Just by turning down the central heating by 1 degree could save up to 10%. You can also put a jumper or two on instead.
12. Hanging out the washing to dry is free.

15. Only boil as much water you want in the kettle.

You can save lots of money by buy in bulk. All my neighbours have to buy heating oil once a year. So we all get together, since there is about 7 of us the oil company treat us like gods and give us a good price as they do not want to loose a big order of about 7000 liters. The oil company wins as we are all close to each other (cutting down on there time) and we win as we get a cheaper oil price (saving of about £40 each).

You can apply this to all sorts of things from pet food to Christmas lights.

You can also apply it to getting your car mot’ed. I have a cycle of friends (about 20)which uses the same garage and we get the mots for about £15 less then normal. The owner does not want to loose us as customers and he always gives us a fair price for any repairs, becuse he knows that we all talk to each other. This is not a new way buying in fact this is how the Co op started. All you need is a group of people who are looking to buy the same or similar things then go to a wholesaler or producer and strike a deal. The more you buy the cheaper the price.

Now the Christmas is over we have probably eat too much and are looking to go on a diet. There are many diets out there and most of them do not work or are just too hard to follow.  Most diets involve cutting out one food group which is almost like starving yourself which is not good.
